(11) Hawley Square

Sir Henry Hawley owned the land
Upon which Hawley Square does now stand
A Georgian Square with garden design
For residents all Genteel and Fine.

In the north-east corner of the square
The Theatre Royal now stands there
Originally built in 1787
While the Methodist Chapel standing since 1811.

John Claudius Louden influenced the ground
Where at the time Iron railings did surround
In the garden many trees still grow
Their Autumnal splendour proudly show.
